I've had keys made here a few times. They're always quick, kind, and affordable. But the other day I was stuck in a little conundrum unrelated to anything they sell. Eddie proactively offered to help...and solved the problem the way good neighbors of yore might have. And he wouldn't accept cash for his trouble. Thank you Eddie...and Viva Nolita!

Jose was so great and patient during our office move. He gave us a few options and listened to our requests. He showed up soon after I called (2 separate occasions) and got all our locks set up very quickly. Awesome service and very friendly and knowledgeable workers. Why can't I give more than 5 stars?!

never thought i'd be so passionate about a key cutting experience, but seriously this place is great. we were in & out in 3 minutes with 2 shiny new keys (perfectly cut, btw) and the guy inside was hilarious. great great great.

I went in on a Tuesday afternoon looking to get the key to my building and the key to my apartment copied, I went to a bunch of different places in Brooklyn and no one would even copy my key so I was really relieved when they were able to copy them. The keys were copied by Eddie he was really kind and helpful. Unfortunately, that night when I tried to unlock my building door the key didn't work so I went back the next day. This time I was helped by a man who's name I didn't get but he was extremely helpful they fixed the issue and gave me a key that worked. If I need any more keys copied I will be coming here because of the friendly staff.

Took them a malfunctioning lock and they made it work properly -- it was a very difficult lock to work on but they were able to do it. They honored their original quote -- even though it took them much longer to do.

A real neighborhood business. Helped me out of a HUGE jam with suggestions that worked, offering their services at a price but said why waste $ when you can do it yourself. I call that citizenship. So refreshing in a Manhattan that has turned into"whats in it for me".

Fast, friendly, affordable with a big selection of key accessories AND they even put on those pesky color-coded key "caps" for me. So great! ALSO: These guys are legitimately located on Mulberry Street, so when you call them as a locksmith in the neighborhood you KNOW they're coming from 5 minutes away, not from some other borough. Don't bother with those SHADY locksmiths with fake addresses that come up on Google... call these guys. They're for real.

Stay away from this vendor at all costs. They are sneaky and underhanded.
They installed a buzzer system for me in Nov 2013. In the summer the buzzer malfunctioned, would not stop buzzing. I called them to take a look--we thought it was covered under the warrantee so we didn't ask for a quote. When the Eric arrived it took him less than a minute to find and fix the problem (a wire had come loose). He called back to the office and told my wife that it was not covered under the warrantee and would cost $95! My wife didn't want to pay him without consulting me so she asked him to send me a bill.
It gets worse. So I never get an invoice or a bill--instead they charged me $212 on the credit card that I used for the Nov 2013 installation. So we go from covered-under-warrantee, to $95, to $212. We never got an invoice or explanation for the $95 let alone the $212. And even worse they charged the card they had on file from the earlier purchase without informing me! (Which I didn't think would be possible but according to the credit card company it's allowed but just bad customer service!)
Stay away, stay away. Happy to provide more details if anyone is interested.

I needed a lot of keys made and Eddie was my guy. Never met the dude before but he acted like one of my uncles at a family party telling jokes and sharing stories. He made the process fun and I would definitely recommend him for all your key making needs!

Richie came and fix my front door lock.It took awhile due to the fact the door was not align. He even out of way to make sure was installed properly. I am glad I called them. Will use them

Nice enough but were unable to effectively copy my elevator key after 3 attempts. They also do not offer refunds. Was able to get it done right in 1 try and for less (with guarantee or money back) at Lendy.
